The Nuer language (Thon Naath), one of the oldest languages in the world, is no exception and faces challenges similar to those of other African languages. However, the Nuer people have taken the initiative to ensure that their language endures through the centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Wikipedia, \u201cThe Nuer language is a Nilotic language of the Western Nilotic group. It is spoken by the Nuer people of South Sudan and in western Ethiopia. The language is very similar to Dinka and Atuot. Nuer language has a Latin-based alphabet.
